Connature Partner, Nordic Organic Food Fair and NPScandinavia 2017: Exhibitor show highlights

Natural Products Scandinavia and Nordic Organic Food Fair – the Nordic region’s biggest trade show for organic food and drink, has released its exhibitor show highlights for 2017.

Returning to MalmöMässan, in Sweden, on 15-16 November, the event will showcase a record number of ‘organic choices’ from around the world.  Becoming the ‘go to’ show for discovering new ideas and concepts, thousands of food buyers, retailers or foodservice professionals will be among the first to discover the next best-sellers and exclusive launches of certified organic products, all under one roof.

The following is a taste of the new organic food and drink products on show for 2017:

LunchVegaz (stand H06C) is launching its range of fresh vacuum-packed vegetation and vegan dishes including: Ayurvedic Vegetable Stir-Fry, Chili sin Carne, Quinoa Pan, Chickpea Tagine, Pasta alla Bolognese, Tagliolini with Spring Vegetables, Thai Curry, and Zucchini Ragout.  Made without additives, nutrients are preserved with pasteurization and sterilization, and has a guaranteed shelf life of 25 days (German Pavilion).

ICI&LA (stand G30E) is launching a new range of meat alternative products to the Scandinavian market.  Made from pulses, lentils, chick peas, and flageolet beans, the products are soy-free, environmentally friendly, and made from only natural ingredients.  Available under catering and retail packaging (Organics Clusters Pavilion – France).

Eleokarpos (stand K64) is introducing its Kleólia Dressings in Lime & Basil and Honey & Rosemary.  They combine organic extra virgin olive oil with a mix of Greek herbs and fruits.  The result is a dressing for meat, fish, and salads, which instantly elevate simply cooked meals (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

Chosan Drinks (stand L07) is launching its Chosan By Nature organic drinks.  The drinks benefit from the natural goodness of hibiscus flowers and baobab fruit with nothing artificial added.  Inspired by African heritage, they use traditional methods to turn all-natural, responsibly sourced ingredients into a selection of exotic flavours (UK).

Bifix W.Piasecki Sp. J. (stand H82) is a family company that has been producing fruit teas from its own plantations along with herbal, black and green teas for 25 years.  It's launching its organic certified jams, and fruit products (raw materials, juice concentrates and dried fruits) to its portfolio (Poland).

RemedyWay (stand J70B) is launching its organic buckwheat muesli, with honey and raisins.  A healthy crispy muesli free from gluten and preservatives, and high in fiber.  Made with organic buckwheat flakes 29%, honey 20%, raisins 13%, orange juice, sunflower seeds, peanuts, and walnuts (Estonia Pavilion).

Prolupin (stand H06D) is launching its Luve Lupine Vegan Ice Cream.  Based on the lupine protein isolate, it’s made with a sustainable, regional alternative to soy, rice, almond, and coconut.  It has an almost neutral taste and the texture is close to products made from cow's milk (German Pavilion).

Cafes Novell (stand J30) is launching the Nespresso compatible, compostable capsules in two flavours Intenso and Decaff.  Certified by the EN13432 Law, in industrial composting conditions they get fully degraded in 12-20 weeks (Spain).

De Traay B.V (stand H12) is introducing its honey with cranberries, from the Isle of Terschelling.  The fresh sourness of the cranberry (from the Dutch Isle of Terschelling), combined with the natural sweetness of the honey, makes an ideal enrichment to yoghurt, muesli and warm toast (The Netherlands).

Natur Hurtig (stand H06F) is launching its natural salt collection in Himalayan Rock Salt, German Rock Salt, and Sea Salt with algae.  As a manufacturer of all kinds of salt and other organic rarities, they’re also showcasing a range of organic peppers, used for smart gourmet cooking (German Pavilion).

Excealoe S.L (stand G60E) is launching its Aloe Yes Cubes, which incorporates the inner part of the Aloe Vera leaf.  The cubes can be added to raw salads, cold soups, yogurts, dairy, and cooked dishes (rice, beans, chickpeas, fish, meat, hot soups).  The smaller sized cube is 1.5 x 2cm, but sizes vary on request (Spain).

Bakalski Co (stand K42) is launching its herbal capsules, powder herbs, bulk herbs, and contract cultivation at the show.  The Powders – nettle, alfalfa, and rosehip – act as additives to foods and drinks and  bulk herbs can be used in tea production, cosmetics, and medicine (Bulgaria).

Smileat (stand H60E) is launching its organic baby food brand, made with no added sugar, salt or additives, and produced only with raw materials for babies and children.  Products include fruit, vegetables, meat jars, snacks, pouches, and baby-cereals (German Pavilion).

ELAION one SA (stand K72C) is introducing the Agourelaion first harvest extra virgin olive oil, with rare Kothreiki variety.  Made with 100% unripe, unirrigated green olives, from olive trees which grow naturally on hillsides.  Maximum acidity is 0,25% (DIO – Greek Pavilion).

Bio Greenford Organic (stand H60A) is launching its new range of organic superfood Açai juice in three flavours including: Antioxidant – Acai, Cranberry & Pomegranate; Stimulant – Acai, Spirulina, Mango & Ginger; and Energy – Acai, Guarana, Green Tea, Yerba Mate, and Passion Fruit (Spanish Pavilion).

PepUpLife - smart food (stand H74B) is introducing its new prefilled sprout bags.  These organic shoots in a practical bag, means veg shoots can easily be grown at home, just fill with water (Advantage Austria pavilion).

Greenomic–Ladolea (stand H35) is introducing its globally awarded extra virgin olive oil.  Packed in a reusable handmade ceramic pot and inspired by Aryballos (700 B.C.), the olive oil us well known for its use by athletes on their bodies before the Olympic games (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

IMS Höllinger GmbH (stand H74E) is launching its new organic fruit juice and syrups.  Multi Sunrise and Multi Sunset is made from 100% juice, has no added sugar, and a natural taste.  The three organic syrups (in 0,5l glass bottles) are available in raspberry, elder flower, and blackcurrant and lemon (Austria).

Nudge Drinks (stand K02) is launching its range of organic frozen high protein smoothies with added essential vitamins.  Simply blend all the ingredients straight from the kit to make a freshly made smoothie or smoothie bowl.  Available in three new flavours: protein greens, protein berries, and protein tropical (UK).

Nuova Gelart Srl (stand J17) is introducing its Gelart caramelized figs, made from an old recipe for a healthy specialty.   Made using sugar, honey, and lemon zest, they’re ideal on bread, pizza, variegate gelato, or as a gourmet treat (Italy). 

Optima Feinkost GmbH (stand H06E) is introducing its Optima Olympia Goat's cheese.  This traditional white cheese has a slightly spicy taste and is made from pasteurized goat's milk.  Rich in nutrients, vitamins and calcium, it’s easily digested and can be used as an alternative for those who suffer from intolerance to cow milk (German Pavilion).

Euphoria Secrets (stand K72B) is introducing its organic aromatic pharmaceutical herbs available in dried form, capsules, extracts, tinctures and essential oils.  Its larger scale herbs and spices include oregano and sage, and its herbs in a smaller experimental scale include hysop and rosemary (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

Dulcesol (stand H60B) is launching a range of baby food by Mi Menu BIO, which includes pots of fruits and grapes, vegetable purees, and bio-fruits and cereal jars.   Also showcasing: a range of vegetable creams by Nurtur, and superfood smoothies in Antioxidant, Energizante, Detox, and Relajante (Spanish Pavilion).

Gourmante (stand K72I) is introducing its new organic range of varietal, flavored wine vinegars, stuffed olives, olive tapenades, and PGI Lakonia extra virgin olive oil.  Also presenting its Mediterranean herbal food supplement which combines olive fruit and leaf polyphenols (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

Rabafarm OÜ (stand J70E) is introducing its pressed (NFC -not from concentrate), pasteurized rhubarb juice.  It contains no sugar or other additives and has a strong rhubarb taste.  Suitable component for smoothies, spirits and alcoholic drinks, salads, and sweets, it’s available in 14L bag in box, or 560L/EUR pallet (Estonia Pavilion).

Protoulis Olive Oil Makers (stand K72E) is launching its olive oil made from selected breed of mountain olive groves in Plomari Lesvos.  The packaging and press is carried out by experts, to create the finest end product (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

Sweet Amsterdam (stand L12) is introducing its Dutch caramel filled waffle cookie.  Crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside, it has a traditional flavour of the Stroopwafel and is organic, gluten and dairy free (The Netherlands).

Salvest (stand J70F) is launching its Smushie Super-smoothies in pouches. Produced from organic ingredients and enriched with vitamins and superfood elements, Smushies are thick in consistency and come in a convenient pouch packaging (Estonia Pavilion).

Tuchel & Sohn GmbH (stand K16) is launching its range of honey, maple syrups, agave syrups, rice syrusp and natural sweeteners such as coconut flower sugar, coconut flower syrup, and maple sugar.  The company can carry out individual orders for compotes, packages and labels (Germany).

Medbest SA (stand K72D) is launching its range of Nefeli organic olives, spreads, antipasti, and olive oil.  Part of the corporate philosophy and vision is to support organic farming (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

MicroFood Piotr Barczyk (stand K30A) is introducing its new dried crunchy blackcurrant at the show, along with its range of organic, and vegan dried snacks, made from Polish vegetables, fruits and tropical fruits (Poland).

Belorganic e.U (stand L41) is introducing Birch Power by Absolutely Wild.  Its newest generation of organic Birch Water with superfood are sustainably hand-harvested in the forests of Northern Europe and comes in four low-calorie drinks: Pure, Classic (modestly sweetened with agave), Aronia Superfruit, and Matcha from Japan (Austria).

Aeolikos A.E.V.E.T (stand K72J) is launching its organic feta cheese made exclusively from sheeps and goats milk in Lesvos Island.  The feta cheese is brewed from the land’s wild herbs, and is low in calories (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

Les Jardins De Gaia (stand J28) is launching its three teabags for the new winter season, the herbal tea ‘Gaïa Happy life’, the green tea ‘Winter Treat’ and the rooibos ‘Under the Stars’ (France).

LikeMeat Nordic (stand F20H) is launching its Likemeat – veggie pulled pork.  All LikeMeat products are made from 100% natural ingredients including pulses or vegetables and are produced according to strict nutritional criteria (Organic Denmark Pavilion).

Agriblea sun-dried tomatoes (stand K25) is launching its sun-dried cherry organic tomatoes, packaged in 100% compostable tray (Italy).

Rõngu Mahl (stand J70G) is showcasing its küllus juices and nectars including organic lingonberry nectar, made with 40% juice of hand-picked wild berries, it’s free from preservative (Estonia Pavilion).

Dalla Costa Alimentare (stand J38) is showcasing its range of products including fusilli made with 100% organic chickpeas flour – ideal for those who are willing to introduce fibers and proteins of vegetable origin (Italy).

Ditra NV–Martera (stand K01) is showcasing its new superfood range which includes organic açai-acerola juice, and a mix of pure purees.  Rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin C, acerola gives a fresh touch to the acai puree (Belgium).

djunked AB (stand L17) is showcasing its grab-and-go chia fruit smoothie n a squeeze pack.   Made with superfoods and natural ingredients, it’s high in Omega3 and has a long shelf-life with room temperature storage.  Flavours include: Apple, Kiwi & Spirulina, and Mango, Passionfruit & Turmeric (Sweden).

Dorsvlegel BV (stand H40F) is promoting its organic lentil sticks which are bio, vegan, gluten-free, and without trans-fat.  Extruded and not fried, it contains 40% less fat than potato chips and is available in salted, and chili (Dutch Pavilion).

Solagora (stand J64) is exhibiting its organic Kaki Persimmon.  This Rojo variety when ripe is firm like a peach, has a sweet, seedless flesh and can be eaten peeled or unpeeled.  This autumn fruit is available from October to February (France).

Minerva (stand L61) bestselling Organic Feta, in Denmark is now available in cubes.  The new packaging with plastic drainer, allows for easy serving.  Protected Designation of Origin product, it can be used on salads, pasta, pizzas, and other Greek or local dishes (DIO– Greek Pavilion).

Sat Naturcharc (stand F60F) is exhibiting samples of its own organic compost.  Andalusian pioneers in recycling its own agricultural waste from productions and bringing it back to soils.  In this way, they nurture soils, which then can nurture plants with quality nutrients (Spanish Pavilion).

Thés de la Pagode (stand J22) is launching its organic herbal teas from Asia.  Picked from organic gardens in accordance with traditional methods, its biological herbal teas come in Slim, Digest and Sleep (France).

Astelfoods Eesti (stand J70A) is launching Elemental Elixir, a food supplement with chaga, aloe, plants, and honey.  Also showcasing: its range of certified organic products, including chaga and pine poppy powders, to add into sauces, marinades, and soups (Estonia Pavilion).

Schalk Mühle KG (stand H74F) is launching its organic raw Austrian pumpkin seed protein powder. Made by de-oiling and grinding raw Austrian pumpkin seeds, it still contains about 8% - 10% pumpkin seed oil and around 65% vegetable protein and about 11% dietary fiber (Austria).

Amoor OÜ (stand J70D) is launching its first vegan pumpkin protein bar.  Made with pumpkin seeds, pumpkin protein and dried fruits, it only contains raw ingredients and is made through a cold-press method to make sure that all good stuff stays (Estonia).

Torrefazione Caffè Salomoni (stand J40) is launching its organic freeze-dried coffee sticks (sachets).  Ready to use in hot, warm and cold water, it can easily be carried in a purse or pocket, and has a creamy taste and a full aroma of the typical Italian coffee blend (Italy).

Motion Nutrition (stand L21) is launching its organic pre-workout energizer, made with beetroot, maca, matcha, guarana, panax ginseng, sea buckthorn, and baobab.  This product aims to benefit the user's performance but also sustain long term health (UK).

Bioterraneo (stand G60H) is introducing its salmorejo, gazpacho and cherry tomato juice.  All gluten-free and organic, they contain no added water or preservatives, and can be kept dry with a shelf life of one year (Spanish Pavilion).

 

Natural Products Scandinavia

Natural Products Scandinavia is co-located with Nordic Organic Food Fair, together they will feature 400 leading exhibitors, showcasing a range of natural health food and drink choices from around the world.

Olivitrus fine greek tastes (stand F75) is previewing its Myrtiful juices, made with Greek seasonal fruits and vegetables, which are cold pressed and cold pressured.  Flavours in the range include organic, apple, carrot, orange & beetroot, and orange, apple & spinach (Greece).

Pukka Herbs (stand E26) is launching Motherkind Pregnancy supplements, a natural and organic vitamin formula for mothers to be, blended with Shatavari, maca and vitamins and minerals.  Also showcasing: Womankind Menopause supplements, a blend of traditional botanicals and whole food extracts, formulated to support women’s health during and after the perimenopause and menopause (UK).

Pulsin (stand F14) is launching its Pulsin Porridge Oat Bars which are made with 100% natural ingredients, including gluten-free oats, whole seeds, and real fruit.  Containing 30% less sugar and double the fiber of other oat bars (UK).

Arctic Power Berries (stand E77) is launching its natural berry powders, made with wild grown berries from Finland.  Packed with nutrients, its one teaspoon of berry powder is equivalent to a handful of fresh berries (UK).

Beneli AB (stand D51B) is launching its Smart labels with NFC technology.  A NCF-tag provides a direct line of communication between product user and brand.  When read using a smartphone, they provide traceability, electronic verification and anti-counterfeiting protection.  Each tag has a unique ID, allowing product information to be changed during the entire life-cycle (Invest in Skane Pavilion).

Adonis (stand E71) is launching two natural, low sugar snack bars to the Nordic region.   Designed for everyday working people rather than for athletes, it doesn’t cause blood sugar to spike.  Adonis won best snack bar at the Free-From Awards (UK).

Pavilion Healthcare (stand A24) is launching its new health product range, including its turmeric latte with coconut and cardamom (Pitta balance), its turmeric latte with almond and Nuts (Vata vegan nutrition) and its turmeric latte with black pepper ginger and cinnamon (Kapha balance) (UK).

Biogroupe (stand F27) is introducing its YA dairy free desserts.  These 100% organic and vegan yoghurts are made from coconut milk, chia seeds, rice milk, almond milk or oat milk, and are carbon compensated to preserve the environment.  Flavours include: Chia, Coco, Amande, Riz, and Avoine (France).

Coop Olive Oils of Lesvos (stand C50) is introducing its Lesvos gold premium extra virgin olive oil, the only Lesvos-based “Kolovi” monovarietal olive oil produced in Lesvos (Mytilene) for more than 4,000 years (Greece).

Hemp Juice Sales (stand A23) is launching its Sana Hemp Juice Boosters – made from the leaves of the adult industrial hemp plant.  After juicing, it is frozen directly to keep all the nutritionals, then freeze dried, where the raw hemp juice powder is extracted and filled in acid resistant vcaps (Cyprus).

AVA Cosmetic Laboratory (stand C04) is launching its series of formulas based on a combination of selected oils, Aloe Vera butter, organic Aloe Vera leaf juice and fig opuntia extract.  The ingredients soothe skin irritation, slow down skin aging, and have intensive skin hydrating, firming and revitalizing properties (Poland).

Ramkalni Nordeco (stand E16) is launching its candied fruits and berries which are grown in Latvia.  In the producing process only sugar is added and no other preservatives or colorants.  As the drying temperature in production is very gentle, the vitamins are preserved.  Fruits include cranberries, rhubarb, blackcurrants and pumpkin (Latvia).

Karoumpalis SA (stand A45) is launching its extra virgin olive oil.  Distinguished by its fruity aroma and derived from an olive variety called Koroneiki.  Cultivation, production, pressing and storage operations are carried out exclusively within the area of Messinia and the production lasts four to six weeks (Greece).

Dharma By Kova Kft (stand E88) is launching its coconut water made from the juice inside an immature green coconut.  Packed with natural sugars, salts, and vitamins to block out fatigue, it’s also low in calories, naturally fat and cholesterol free (Hungary).

Wanna (stand F21) is introducing its Meito´s organic red and green curry paste, made purely from organic farming in Chonburi, Thailand. The Red paste contains red chilli, garlic, shallots, lemon grass, galanga, sugar, salt and citric acid (Sweden).

A. S. Agri Exports PVT LTD (stand D30B) is launching its hygienically extracted matured coconut meat which is sliced and roasted to create a coconut snack.  It is vegan, low in calories, high in fiber, low fat, gluten and cholesterol free.  Also showcasing: Spicy Coconut Wine (Sri Lanka pavilion).

Kamareleo (stand E74) is launching it range of Alkyoni natural products of the Greek countryside, including its extra virgin olive oil.  They also recently launched lemon juices and white and black raisins. Also showcasing: oregano, mountain tea and olive oil soap (Greece).

Pookspafoods GmbH (stand A41) is launching its coconut chip snacks which keep all the benefits of coconut oil.  They are carefully prepared from the pure meat of mature coconuts – grown, harvested, husked and shelled in Thailand.  With a classic sweet and sea salt flavor, you can eat them as a snack and combine them with a variety of dishes (Germany).

Greenollia (stand F71) is introducing its singularly low acidity extra virgin olive oils, coming from unique blends of renowned varieties, and also premium quality organic olives, harvested from their own groves (Greece). 

Raw & Wild Activated Pili Nuts (stand E61) is introducing its nutritionally packed nuts.  They are pre-sprouted and dehydrated to preserve all the vital enzymes, minerals and nutrients. The activation process breaks down complex starch, and neutralises the phytic acid found in all nuts and seeds (UK).

Fisis Ergo (stand E60H) is launching its organic herbs including dill, parsley, coriander, spring onions, and onions (red and yellow).  Also showcasing: oranges, tomatoes, melons and watermelons (Greece).

Organic Milk Caramel DeliXia (stand B47) is launching its caramel organic milk.  Containing 6% fat and derived from whole milk, it’s gluten, nut, and lactose free, and contains no palm oil, preservatives, and colouring.  The food quality and safety is guaranteed by FSSC 22000 and the ISO 9001 certifications (Italy).
